The Paris Museum of Decorative Arts pays tribute to Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen and her extravagant Haute-Couture collections.
Born in 1984 in Wamel and graduated from ArtEZ University in Amsterdam, she made her debut in the studio of Alexander McQueen.
Very quickly, Iris van Herpen created her brand which met with dazzling success. Invited to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris, she has presented her visionary collections there for several years.
Her passion for dance, classical and modern, which she has practiced since childhood, and her exclu- sive relationship with nature represent the bases of her art. It is from there that she creates the links between body and clothing.
