The exhibition begins in the garden where strange dwarves and a giant with vegetable heads, created by Jean François Fourtou, welcome visitors. A huge kitchen whisk like a tree from the imagination of the three-star chef Alain Passard accompanies them with the immense colorful heart of Jacque- line Dauriac which beats in unison with the beauty of the place.
Among the most incredible immersive installations in caves, the thousand colorful butterflies of Encoreunestp, are inspired by the loving expression of having «butterflies in the stomach». Their wingbeats, accompanied by a soundtrack, recreate this feeling of excitement of passion.
The installation «Spring» by the Korean artist Nam Tchun-Mo is very tall. Composed of fifteen modules, like sharps on a musical score, it unfolds majestically and magnificently in its immense chalk pit.
Felipe Oliviera Baptista, former artistic director of Lacoste, captured the movements of bodies engraved on the slate in «Ivresse».
Delphine Reist with her «Bruits de bottes» presents boots lined up in a cave to beat time and make their presence resonate.
«Mélodies en sous-sol», a title that recalls the film made in 1963 by Henri Verneuil, with Alain Delon and Jean Gabin, is an exhibition conceived as a sound and visual score where notes and images express themselves.
