The immense and magnificent installation «La Fleur Morte» by Rebecca Louise Law invites us to enter the waking dream of 100,000 dried flowers. Floral nature is also present and emblematic at the heart of cinema, literature and also music. Thus, we find them in a wall of vinyls with the floral record covers of the last 50 years.
«Life & Death» and its digital projection space takes the public into a work by the French artist Miguel Chevalier. On 70 square meters, this animated work projects floral images of virtual plants that interact with the movements of visitors in the heart of the space.
In collaboration with the Chelsea Physic Garden, the exhibition explores the medicinal and poisonous properties of different species, going so far as to study the mathematical principles of certain natural floral phenomena.
The Schroder family has lent superb botanical illustrations from their collec- tion on the development of orchids.
