Moving from reality to illusion. An admirer of Andy Warhol, she likes to
think he would have worn her glasses! Through those eyes, we travel three-dimensio-
nally through her world, which questions the planet’s catastrophes and suffering in a
playful and joyful way. Olga Kosheleva has no shortage of audacity!
A few years ago, a businessman visited her studio to purchase a work. Unfortunately,
he touched a newly finished canvas. Faced with his dissatisfaction because her beau-
tiful suit «was expensive,» Olga picked up a brush and finished painting his jacket,
«now your suit will be even more valuable!» Thus was born this other facet of her
work.
Since her arrival in Paris, her works have been presented in collective exhibitions.
A logical continuation for someone who has already exhibited in Italy, Canada, the
United States, and Monaco, and has joined private collections in Europe and the
United States. A few awards crown the creations of this almost forty-year-old: In
2017, the Belvedere di San Leucio Biennale Prize in Italy and the Leonardo da Vinci
Prize in Florence in 2018.

Olga’s life is fueled by artistic inspiration.
From any raw material, a work of art will be born. Here, she saws a plank of wood
to make a cloud; there, she outlines it, delicately written with a brush, with a poetic
phrase that came to her while wandering in Paris on roller skates.
She moves a lot, all the time. In Paris to take the pulse of the city, in Normandy to
take that of the countryside, in Brittany to take the sea. She has periods of sculpture,
others of painting, others where she learns how to make her own spiced chocolate or
perfume. She loves performances; they amuse her and allow her to meet people and
exchange ideas. Olga’s plan is to create what she wants, and it’s working out quite
well, given her development. Her joyful art is a hit, and her collectors understand
this.
