At the Musée des Impressionnismes in Giverny, with The Reign of the Living,
Andrea Branzi unfolds a unique reflection on the links between nature and culture.
This exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou as part of their
Constellation program, offers a rich selection combining emblematic pieces, previously
unseen family archives, and eminent contemporary works.
A major figure in modern design and architecture, Andrea Branzi (1938–2023) was
a tireless theorist. Co-founder of the radical group Archizoom and a member of the
Alchimia and Memphis movements, he established himself as a critical voice, breaking
down formal and rationalist hierarchies.
The exhibition features iconic works such as «Bamboo Interior Wood,» a monumental
installation made of painted bamboo, recently acquired by the Centre Pompidou in
2024.
