For many years, the Officine Panerai sponsored the Galileo museum and its historic boutique in Florence is located right in front of Duomo. Today, Panerai restores the wonderful clock in tribute to its hometown.
This clock, painted by the great Renaissance artist Paolo Uccello is one of the oldest existing and still in service, mechanical clocks with the particularity to indicate the italics hour. Its restoration was made from a very thorough search of its history and the methods used by its creators to keep its authenticity and restore it to its original beauty.
Officine Panerai shows once again its commitment and loyalty to the values that built it and made its international reputation in all greatness and humility.
