Ambitious businessman, Justin K. Thannhauser opened new galleries in Lucerne in 1919 and then in Berlin.
With the rise of Nazi power, the family moved to Paris and mo- ved to New York in 1940 where Justin K. Thannhauser established himself as
a private art dealer.
